Earnest Leung, MSc
Earnest Leung obtained his BSc in Microbiology & Immunology (1996) and his MSc in Obstetrics & Gynecology (1997) at the University of British Columbia. His experience spans three industries with a common theme: application of science and medicine to the real world.
As a research scientist in industrial and academic institutions, he developed in vitro plate assays and in vivo animal models to screen compounds for biological activity to bring drugs from basic science, through clinical trials to market. Therapeutic applications included oncology and infectious diseases.
Experienced as a board member to various non-profit health organizations and consultant to government health agencies, Earnest has an overview of the biotechnology industry at the provincial, federal and global levels. His experience has played a central role in charting many details of Network Immunology’s research and development program.
