Robert Forsyth, PhD
Dr. Robert Forsyth is an instructor in the Biotechnology Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
He did an M.Sc. in the Department of Microbiology at U.B.C. with an emphasis on network immunology under the direction of Dr. Hoffmann. During this work he demonstrated considerable independence as a researcher, and published his findings in the Journal of Immunology. This was followed by a Ph.D. in the Department of Animal Science at U.B.C., with a focus on fish health. He attained a first class average in his course work for both degrees. One of his papers was deemed to be one of the best five papers published in 1997 by the journal Aquatic Animal Health, which is published by the American Fisheries Society.
